Poland offered to exclude Russia from G20 and received a "positive response"

Poland has proposed excluding the Russian Federation from the G20. Polish Minister of Economic Development and Technology Petr Novák said he had received a "positive response."

Reuters reported this.

According to the Polish minister, the issue of exclusion was discussed at meetings held in Washington last week.

"During the meetings, including with (US Secretary of Commerce) Gina Raimondo, we proposed to exclude Russia from the G20, which was met with positive feedback and approval, and the issue is to be referred to President Biden," Novak said.
