Tobacco corporations fund the Russian army
One of the biggest producers of tobacco products in Russia JTI | Japan Tobacco International stated that during the military aggression against the Ukraine, company won't stop its work in Russia!
The corporation continues to work, pay taxes to the Russian budget, which provides military action against Ukraine, including bombing our cities and killing civilians.
JTI – produces the largest share of tobacco products in Russia – about 30%. The company operates under well-known brands Winston, Camel, LD, Sobranie, e.t.c. More than 4,500 people work at the three Russian factories. We call for a boycott of Japan Tobacco International, as well as Philip Morris International, British American Tobacco, which continues to operate in Russia and pay taxes for which the Russian government is fighting against Ukraine.
We emphasize once again that the use of any tobacco products regardless of the manufacturer, is harmful to all, including non-smokers, and causes diseases that lead to premature death. We wish all Ukrainians to become stronger in this difficult time and to renounce the use of any tobacco products and electronic smoking devices. We need health to fight the enemy.
