During the two weeks of the war, Ukraine lost half of its GDP. About 50% of enterprises have stopped working. The loss of the economy is estimated at $100 billion.

Such data were announced today by the President's Adviser on Economic Affairs Oleh Ustenko.

"According to preliminary estimates of our office, the assets we lost or the assets that were destroyed are estimated at about 100 billion US dollars. These are very approximate estimates of what we have already lost," said Oleh Ustenko.

He also said that the war completely stopped about 50% of Ukrainian enterprises.

The other half of the plants and enterprises are now working at the limit.

Earlier, it was estimated that due to the Russian attack, Ukraine's transport infrastructure alone suffered losses of $10 billion in two weeks.

Washington has said it will allocate $50 billion in humanitarian aid to Ukrainians suffering from Russian aggression. The funds will be allocated under the food aid program.

This was stated by US Vice President Kamala Harris during a joint press conference with Polish President Andrzej Duda.

"We are donating an additional $50 billion to help deliver humanitarian aid. Obviously, together, in solidarity, we will do everything we can to ensure all humanitarian needs, as well as the security of Ukraine and the Ukrainian people," Harris said.

The Vice President noted that the United States supports Ukrainians who have shown great courage and added that the whole civilized world was angry when it saw what was happening in Ukraine with innocent children, mothers, fathers, grandparents, people who flee, leave everything they had.
