G7 countries' representatives will hold a meeting to discuss the situation in Ukraine

The G7 foreign ministers will hold a meeting to coordinate steps in response to Russian aggression and discuss the situation in Ukraine.

This was reported by Ned Price on Twitter and Ukrinform and Reuters.

The meeting is scheduled for Friday, at 2 pm Kyiv time.

According to State Department spokesperson Ned Price, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has already arrived in Brussels, where he will take part in the G7 summit after NATO ministerial talks.

The topic of discussion at the G7 summit will be the situation in Ukraine. And the meeting itself will be held in a mixed format: live and online.

According to Reuters, Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi will join the talks via video.

"We are exchanging views on how to act and plan to strengthen G7 coordination on this issue," the Japanese Foreign Ministry said at a meeting.
