Odesa residents will defend the city, will fight for each house - Trukhanov
The mayor of Odesa Hennadii Trukhanov declared that the residents of Odesa didn't want to believe till the last minute that there would be a war, but are ready to protect the families.
Dumskaya reported this referring to Trukhanov's interview with American Vice News.
"We are ready to defend Odesa. We will not allow anyone to capture us! We did not call the Russian armed forces here and did not wait for them. We see this as a treacherous attack on our city," he said.
According to Trukhanov, residents of Odesa "will defend the city, defend it in every quarter and fight for every house."
