Rescuers reported that the fire, resulting from the shelling of the petroleum products storage at the "KLO" base in the Kyiv region, is now controlled.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service on Facebook, writes Rubryka.

As noted, the fire is not spread and there is no threat to people.

"The fire will be extinguished as soon as possible after the end of the shelling, rescue units are ready. In addition, a reserve of Kirovograd and Cherkassy regions has been created for up to 200 people and 50 units of State Emergency Service equipment.

Information about the victims and injured is being clarified," the report says.

At around 1 o'clock in the morning on February 27, near the village of Kryachki in the Fastovsky (Vasilkovsky) district, as a result of shelling a fire broke out in a storage facility with petroleum products on the "KLO" base.

The company reported that the oil depot was destroyed, with the storage facilities there being almsot completely full.

Despite this, in a matter of minutes after the Russian missile strike and explosion, the workers managed to save 15 cars with diesel fuel and 8 cars with gas:

"With this fuel, we will be able to refuel the Armed Forces, the defense Ministry, medics, Kyivenergo, Kyivpastrans and others who do not let Kyiv fall and who "hold the sky"!"
