President Volodymyr Zelenskyi has stated that the Ukrainian military is inflicting losses on the enemy in heavy fighting and that the Ukrainian government is ready to provide weapons to all Ukrainians ready to defend their homeland.
This was announced by Zelenskyy in his address.
"The armed forces of Ukraine are fighting hard, repelling attacks in the Donbas, in other regions in the east, north, south. The enemy has suffered serious losses, the enemy will suffer even more. They came to our land.
Ukraine is attacked from the north, south, and east, attacked from the air. Protection works. Today, the army and national solidarity are the mainstays of Ukrainian statehood. But I don't think it's the only one. We are already handing out weapons and will give them to protect our land to all who wish, to all who are able to defend our sovereignty.
Anyone who has combat experience and can join the defense of Ukraine must immediately arrive at the appropriate centers. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is involving veterans in the defense of the state," the president said.
Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine has wounded soldiers, and called for donating blood for them.
The President added that working now is also helping the state.
Zelensky will come out with an adress every hour.
