Ukraine reports 23,572 new COVID-19 cases
Ukraine recorded 23,572 new coronavirus cases on November 12, according to the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.
"Ukraine recorded 23,572 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 1,622 cases among children, 436 – health workers) on November 12, 2021," the ministry wrote on Facebook.
On November 12, Ukraine recorded 4,564 COVID-19 hospitalizations, 695 deaths related to the disease, and 25,415 recoveries.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,203,149 people in Ukraine have contracted COVID-19, 2,620,094 have recovered and 76,302 have died from COVID-19. The total number of conducted PCR tests has reached 15,189,223.
According to data provided by the Ministry of Health, 20,708,263 doses have been administered in Ukraine since the launch of the vaccination campaign. In particular, 12,121,802 people received their first dose and 8,586,461 people received both doses (two people received their first dose abroad).
It is noted that 91.1% of those hospitalized with COVID-19 last week were unvaccinated.
