G7 ambassadors welcome the adoption of the law on NABU's status
The G7 ambassadors welcomed the adoption of amendments to the legislation on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU).
This is stated in the Twitter of the G7 ambassadors.
At the same time, the diplomats stressed the crucial importance of transparency in the selection of a new director of the Bureau.
"G7 Ambassadors welcome the adoption of the law on NABU by the Verkhovna Rada and cross-party support for it. This is a step forward in strengthening Ukraine's independent anti-corruption institutions. Transparency & competitiveness in selecting a new director will be crucial," the statement said.
