Nothing threatens visa-free travel and Ukraine's integration into the EU - Kuleba

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated that the EU-Ukraine Summit that had happened in Kyiv the day before didn't mention the threat to the visa-free regime with the European Union.

He said this at a briefing in Kyiv, the Yevropeiska Pravda reports.

The minister called discussions about the possible cancellation of visa-free travel for Ukrainians fakes of some political forces.

"There is no threat to Ukraine's visa-free travel and its integration into the EU," Kuleba said.

As reported by Rubryka, several media outlets reported in late September that some EU countries had raised the issue of lifting visa-free travel with the Western Balkans, as well as with Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova, through a series of abuses by their citizens.

However, German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier denied reports that some EU countries had raised the possibility of lifting the visa-free regime with several countries, including Ukraine and Moldova.
