In Khmelnytskyi, children and adults will be taught proper waste management

A Goofy Center has been opened in Khmelnytskyi, where children and adults will be taught proper waste management using interactive methods.

The chairperson of the Khmelnytskyi City Council Oleksandr Simchyshyn announced on Facebook, Rubryka reports.

"There are things that need to be learned from an early age and in the form of games, movies, cartoons, puppet shows, tours, etc. Today we opened a unique and cool project, "Goofy Center," where interactive methods will teach children and adults the right behavior with waste," the message reads.

According to him, "Goofy Center" is 5 halls with interactive exhibits, models, games, training programs designed and manufactured specifically for this project. Goofy, the dog, and guides of the training center lead visitors through all the exhibition halls.

In the first hall, you can watch a film about the history of garbage, then you see "garbage horror room," behind it, there is the largest exhibition hall, where they teach smart waste management. There is also a hall of the waste recycling complex.

According to the mayor, the center will work in the format of tours for groups and individual visitors.

Admission to the training center is free (for groups by pre-registration) by phone or through social media pages.
