Tomorrow Rada will consider medical cannabis legalization in Ukraine

The Verkhovna Rada plans to consider, among other things, the issue of medical cannabis legalization at an extraordinary sitting on Tuesday, July 13.

The People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" party Yuliia Hryshyna announced it in Telegram, Rubryka reports.

"On Tuesday we'll hold an extraordinary parliament meeting. We'll consider the criminalization of smuggling, decide how to reform the enterprises of the defense complex, and start working on medical cannabis legalization," Hryshyna wrote.

The Verkhovna Rada is expected to convene for extraordinary sessions this week on Tuesday, July 13, and Thursday, July 15.

In addition, a meeting of the "Servant of the People" faction will take place today, July 12. Several draft laws will be discussed, probably including corporate management of the state enterprises.

As Rubryka reported, a draft law on medical cannabis legalization was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on June 2.
