Constitution Day: Trident sign installed near parliament. Ukraine’s flag raised

A Trident memorial sign has been installed on Constitution Square near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The event took place on the occasion of Constitution Day, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The memorial sign was solemnly unveiled by the servicemen of the National Guard.

Also, the National Flag of Ukraine was solemnly raised near the Rada.
The ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Vice Speaker Olena Kondratiuk, MPs, ambassadors of foreign states, authors of the Constitution, and church leaders.

During the raising of the flag, the national anthem of Ukraine was played.
Constitution Day has been celebrated in Ukraine on June 28 since 1996.
