Ukraine appeals against Russian delegation's authority in PACE
The Ukrainian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe challenged the authority of the delegation of the Russian Federation.
A member of the Ukrainian delegation to the PACE, People's Deputy of the European Solidarity faction Oleksii Honcharenko announced this.
"At the PACE meeting, the powers of the Russian delegation were officially appealed against," Honcharenko wrote on Facebook on Monday.
According to him, 38 deputies supported the decision for the required 30.
Honcharenko added that now the issue would go to the Monitoring Committee, where a report would be prepared, and to the procedural committee, to prepare an opinion. After that, the prepared report and opinion will be submitted to the Assembly for a final decision.
