People of Action: how do street musicians live and earn a living?

How do musicians agree on locations? Where to play best? In which city is it easiest to raise money on the street and is it really safe to go outside with a guitar?

An ordinary school history teacher and a barista at one of the famous bars in Kyiv on Saksahanska Street studied together at the Faculty of History at the Drahomanov Pedagogical Institute. The first person became a schoolteacher; children adore him, and he doesn't want to change his job for anything else, and the second person is now actively studying to move into the IT industry. The guys have one thing in common: a love of adventure and a desire to give passers-by on the streets pleasant emotions.

The guys met at university. Ruslan had a flair for music, and at that time, he had 8 years of experience singing in the choir. One day he even sang to the Pope himself. Volodymyr wanted to learn to play the guitar, as well as the talent to gather people around him. Even though both young men have jobs, a few years after university, they like to do one thing that united them during their student days: Vova and Ruslan take guitars, cajón, and speakers and go to the city to play.
