Since 2000, World First Aid has been held annually on the second Saturday in September at the initiative of national organizations, members of the International Red Cross, and the Red Crescent Movement. This year, this day falls on September 11, and today Rubryka has decided to gather the most important things you need to know about first aid.

The primary task during first aid is to save the victim's life, reduce their suffering and prevent the development of possible complications by carrying out simple medical measures. First aid is provided to the victim before the ambulance arrives, and in general, all actions to be taken by the person assisting the victim are simplified as much as possible. However, the person providing first aid should be familiar with the algorithm of actions to be performed and the simplest skills of first aid.
