Ukrainian drones launch attack on Russian coast guard base in occupied Crimea

In the temporarily occupied Crimea, the Security Service of Ukraine, together with the Naval Forces, attacked the Russian Coast Guard base on Lake Donuzlav with air and sea drones.

According to the mass media interlocutor, last night, the Russians conducted training on protecting the water area of ​​Lake Donuzlav. During the training, sea and air drones carried out a combined attack on the base of the Russian Federation's Coast Guard.

As a result, several Russian objects were damaged, in particular:

  • headquarters with a control point,
  • storage of ammunition and equipment and firing positions.

In addition, the power substation and technical facilities were disabled.

Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that on the night of July 18, the Russian anti-aircraft defense system allegedly destroyed 33 drones over Crimea and two more over the Bryansk region of Russia.

In addition, ten unmanned boats heading towards the temporarily occupied Crimean peninsula were allegedly destroyed in the waters of the Black Sea.

Residents in occupied Crimea have been reporting loud "bangs," which are being attributed to "training" by the Z-warriors [Russian forces – ed.] in the area. However, local media is reporting these noises as enemy attacks.

According to Z-publics [Russian Telegram channels – ed.], the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is conducting exercises on the territory of the Black Sea region until 04:00 on July 18.

At the same time, local channels wrote that thunderous explosions could be heard in Myrne and Novoozerne.

They note that this is no longer the Black Sea region, where the alleged "training" occurs, but Yevpatoria.

According to Russian channel subscribers, the explosions "blew out the windows" in Novoozerny, and the lights allegedly went out.

There were also reports of explosions in the Donuzlav region.

Furthermore, it was reported that explosions and gunshots were audible in the vicinity of Kozatska Bukhta. According to witnesses, the helicopter fired bursts at its target.

The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mykhailo Razvozhaev, wrote on his Telegram that the loud noises in the city that could be heard were the Russian military's attempt to attack a surface drone. It was allegedly destroyed.

On July 15, in the area of ​​Cape Fiolent of temporarily captured Sevastopol, the enemy's military unit was hit at night. Presumably, one of the Russian radar stations was damaged.

It was also reported that on July 1, several explosions rang out in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, and the local occupation authorities announced the operation of air defense and the destruction of air targets.

As the Crimean Wind Telegram channel wrote, the explosions were probably in ​​the village of Flotske, where the military unit is located.

Subsequently, the commander of the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces, Mykola Oleshchuk, confirmed the successful destruction of a Russian ammunition depot in the temporarily captured Crimea on July 1.
