The ATB retail chain has provided basements of its stores as bomb shelters
The all-Ukrainian retail chain "ATB" offers Ukrainians to hide from airstrikes and bombings in the basements of their shops.
This was announced by the head of the communications service of ATB corporation Serhii Demchenko on Facebook.
"As of today, the stores of the ATB retail chain with basements are open to anyone who has nowhere to hide during an air alarm. They will also have the necessary supply of drinking water", Demchenko wrote.
All operating stores of the network are available as shelters. A constantly updated list of temporarily closed ATB stores is available by this link.
Also by this link a complete list of ATB stores which have basements all across Ukraine can be found.
"It will be possible to hide in the basement only in the shops that are currently open. During the curfew, the basements and shops will be closed," Demchenko said.
