The Ministry of Defense has officially codified and authorized using the Witcher unmanned aviation complex within Ukraine's armed forces. This system's high-speed FPV drones can intercept any wheeled equipment used by the invaders.

The Main Directorate for Supporting the Life Cycle of Armaments and Military Equipment reported this.

The Witcher unmanned aviation complex is manufactured by a Ukrainian enterprise. It was developed based on the combat experience of Ukrainian soldiers, and most of its components are produced domestically.

With its relatively compact dimensions, Witcher can carry a charge whose power is sufficient to defeat armored vehicles effectively and protect enemy firing positions. At the same time, the copter develops significant speed and can maneuver sharply.

Drones of the complex operate day and night, detecting and recognizing typical enemy targets.

For reference:

As Rubryka previously reported, a revolutionary project, "Line of Drones," is being launched in Ukraine. It will radically strengthen Ukrainian brigades and scale up the experience of effectively destroying the enemy.

As a reminder, the Defense Ministry of Ukraine officially codified and allowed the Ukrainian-made Hromylo unmanned aerial vehicle complex for operation in units of Ukraine's armed forces, which is designed to defeat enemy manpower, equipment, and fortifications.

Since the onset of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has significantly ramped up the production of drones and aviation complexes. This expansion includes helicopters and attack drones, as well as naval drones. President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Ukraine can produce up to 4 million drones annually. To date, contracts have been signed to produce over 1.5 million UAVs.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has launched licensed production of FPV drones based on one of the state-owned enterprises.

In August, it was reported that Ukraine's Ministry of Defense codified and approved twice as many samples of Ukrainian-made weapons and military equipment for use within the armed forces as compared to the previous year. In 2023, the number of approved samples surpassed 200.

Certain weapon systems manufactured in Ukraine boast unique characteristics that have been proven effective in combat, solidifying the country's status as a global leader in drone technology. Recently, Oleksandr Kamyshin, the presidential adviser on strategic issues, announced that Ukraine has begun producing 155-mm artillery shells.

During the Independence Day celebrations on August 24, President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed the first successful combat deployment of the Ukrainian "Palianytsia" drone-missile. Furthermore, at the "Ukraine 2024. Independence" forum on August 27, the President announced the successful testing of a domestically produced ballistic missile for the first time.

Additionally, the Ukrainian army has started receiving new batches of 5.45×39 mm and 5.56×45 mm ammunition, manufactured at local facilities. This marks a significant stride in reestablishing independent ammunition production, which had been disrupted following the 2014 occupation of the Luhansk cartridge factory.
