Russian kamikaze drones leave six dead and 12 injured in Hlukhiv dormitory
On the evening of November 18th, in the Sumy region, Russian occupation forces launched a drone attack on Hlukhiv, causing explosions to reverberate throughout the city. The enemy drones targeted a tall building, resulting in fatalities and injuries.
The Sumy regional military administration reported this.
The Telegram channel Hlukhiv.City reported that at approximately 11:20 p.m., two powerful explosions were heard in the city.
"The Russians struck Hlukhiv. At approximately 11:20 p.m., two powerful explosions were heard in Hlukhiv. There is a hit in a high-rise building, Hlukhiv.City correspondents report from the events scene," the message said.
According to the channel, a significant part of the building was destroyed. According to preliminary information, there are injured and dead residents.
Later, the local military authority stated that six people had died and at least 12 others were injured as a result of an enemy drone attack.
The military authorities have reported that a child was among the deceased at 7:00 a.m. Additionally, it has been confirmed that two out of the 12 injured are minors.
Emergency and rescue teams are currently working on the scene. There may be residents trapped under the debris. The consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified.
Correspondents of the Suspilne publication also write that the rubble is currently being cleared in a high-rise building, and people may be under it.

"During the day, the Russians carried out 48 attacks on border areas and settlements of the Sumy region. 110 explosions were recorded. The Khotinska, Yunakivska, Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Velykopysarivska, Shalyhinska, Esmanska, and Seredyno-Budska communities were subjected to shelling," the regional military administration reported.

- Yunakivska community: Russians struck with artillery (2 explosions).
- Esmanska community: UAVs were dropping VOG grenades (6 explosions), artillery shelling (1 explosion), and FPV drone attack (1 explosion).
- Seredyno-Budska community: FPV drone attack (2 explosions).
- Shalyhinska community: 9 mines were dropped by the Russians on the territory of the community. There was also an attack by FPV drones (2 explosions).
It should be noted that on the evening of November 12, Russian troops used Shahed drones to strike critical infrastructure facilities in the Shostka community in the Sumy region. As a result of the attack, the city of Shostka was left without a heat supply.
