Demining robots fundraiser and UAH 1 million donation from Olympic champion Mahuchikh — five leading solutions of the week
Every Saturday, Rubryka offers a brief digest of the TOP-5 solutions of the week that bring Ukraine closer to victory:
💪 Timothy Snyder and Mark Hamill announced a fundraiser for 30 demining robots for Ukraine. These robots can operate in hard-to-reach areas and, most importantly, at a safe distance from the operator. The total fundraising goal is $441,000.
🇺🇦 Olympic champion Yaroslava Mahuchikh donated UAH 1 million from her prize money to purchase vehicles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She also contributed UAH 1 million to help animals and another UAH 500,000 to treat military personnel.
🛻 The Defense Procurement Agency delivered 154 pickup trucks for the needs of the army. The vehicles meet all technical requirements and are actively used by units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
🇸🇪 Swedish armored personnel carriers have been added to the arsenal of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Spare parts, maintenance equipment, and ammunition will be provided alongside them. These armored personnel carriers are amphibious, capable of traversing water obstacles.
🐝 A Danish-Ukrainian startup is developing a swarm of drones for demining. The Dropla platform deploys a swarm of six UAVs simultaneously, allowing coverage of up to 0.5 square kilometers per day.
