Solutions from Ukraine: Ranok publishing house donates over $150,000 to restore Triada-Pak printing house damaged by Russian shelling

The Ranok publishing house transferred 6.2 million hryvnias to restore the Triada-Pak printing house damaged by Russian shelling.

The publishing house's press service reported this.

The funds transferred will be an advance payment for printing future Ranok editions. This entire amount is earmarked for addressing the attack's aftermath and expediting the restoration of the printing house's operations.

"This is not the first printing house that Russian troops have damaged or destroyed since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

Russia is trying in every way to destroy everything Ukrainian – printing companies, bookstores, libraries, museums, schools.

Therefore, today it is more important than ever to unite our efforts to defend and develop Ukrainian culture," the publishing house's general director, Viktor Kruhlov, notes.

He adds that 50% of the proceeds from sales of Ranok books in the bookstore chain and the online store KnyhoLend will also be transferred to Triada-Pak restoration.

For reference:

On the night of February 28 to March 1, Russian troops carried out another strike on Kharkiv.

The drone attack damaged buildings in three districts of the city, including the literary museum, four bookstores and the printing house Triada-Pak. As a result of the shelling, windows were broken at the enterprise, the roof and part of the printing presses were damaged.

Triada-Pak stands as one of the largest printing houses in the city, having printed books for prominent publishers such as Ranok, A-BA-BA-GA-LA-MA-GA, Old Lion Publishing House, Vivat, among others. According to the printing house's representatives, Triada-Pak produced nearly 5,483,000 publications last year.
