For the first time in history, the military of Ukraine's armed forces hit a BM-27 "Uragan" multiple-launch rocket system with an FPV drone.

Volunteer Serhiy Sternenko published the relevant video on Telegram.

The MRL was struck while being transported in the Belgorod region of Russia.

The Russians placed several units on semi-trailers and transported them to an unknown location through the settlement of Voznesenivka.

The strike was carried out using only one FPV drone, so the level of damage to the installation is currently unknown.

It should be noted that the attack took place on Pobeda Street in Voznesenivka, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, which is 7.5 km from the border with Ukraine.

The coordinates of the affected area are 50.416995 and 37.014822.

For reference:

The "Uragan" rocket salvo fire system was produced between 1975 and 1991 and is currently a relatively widespread installation.

According to Western media, Russia has about 750 MLRS of this type, among which 200 launchers are in the Russian Armed Forces, and another 550 are in storage.

It is essential to mention that the Russian border is currently quite turbulent, as the Russian Volunteer Corps is actively searching for the equipment of the occupiers, which is intended to be used in the war in Ukraine.

Earlier, Rubryka reported that fighters of the "Azov" brigade, together with fighters of the Assault Troops brigade, broke up the Russian convoy and captured a new tank of the occupiers.

In total, on April 7, the Defense Forces eliminated almost 900 more invaders, bringing the total loss of Russian troops since the beginning of the full-scale invasion in human resources to about 448,400 soldiers.

Also, during the past day, the Air Force of the Defense Forces attacked:

  • One control point,
  • Five anti-aircraft missile complexes,
  • One communication tower,
  • Thirteen areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment of the enemy.

Units of the missile forces inflicted damage on:

  • One anti-aircraft missile complex,
  • One UAV control point,
  • One artillery system,
  • Three areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment of the occupiers.

As reported by the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces, Sicheslav paratroopers repulsed Russian troops' most massive attempt to break through the defenses on the Avdiivka front in recent days. Fighting continues, and the situation remains tense.

Also, in the Donetsk region, the city of Chasiv Yar remains under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces; all attempts of the occupiers to break through to this settlement have failed.
