Ukraine's air defenses downed 14 Russian drones overnight

On the night of March 2, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with three Kh-59/Kh-35 guided missiles and 17 Shahed attack drones.

Ukraine's air defense shot down 14 drones, according to the report.

Enemy drones were attacking Odesa and the region from the Black Sea from several directions.

Air defense units downed drones near Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipro regions.

On March 1, Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber was destroyed in the eastern direction, which tried to strike at the positions of the Ukrainian forces with guided bombs.

There have been casualties and injuries in drone strikes and falling debris in Odesa and Kharkiv regions.

On the night of March 2, Russian troops attacked Odesa with attack drones. One of the drones hit a 9-storey building in a residential area during maneuvers among residential neighborhoods. Part of the entrance with 18 apartments was destroyed.

At least two were killed and seven local residents were injured, including a 3-year-old child and a pregnant woman.
