On February 27, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed another Russian Su-34 fighter bomber in the Eastern direction.

Rubryka writes about this, referring to the Telegram of the commander of the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk.

"Approximately at 2 p.m., they [Ukrainian soldiers – ed.] worked on another Su-34. The direction is the same! The goal is the same!

With such losses in combat and special aviation, the Russians should think, at least for some time, about stopping "airborne meat assaults".

Well, let's keep working… To victory!" he wrote in the message.

It should be noted that on the morning of February 27, it became known about the downing of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the Eastern direction.

The Air Force also mentioned that the Russian pilots were able to maneuver away from Ukrainian missiles yesterday, but this will not always be the case.

"That's why I advise the occupiers to see their relatives before every flight, just in case. Because who knows, they will be lucky or not this time," the military emphasized.

For reference:

Since February 17, Ukrainian defenders of the sky have already shot down 8 enemy planes.

Thus, on February 17, it became known that the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three Russian aircraft – two Su-34 fighter-bombers and a Su-35 fighter. They were also shot down on the eastern front.

On February 18, the Armed Forces of Ukraine "landed" a Russian Su-34 fighter bomber in the east.

In addition, on February 19, Oleschuk confirmed that the Armed Forces shot down two more Russian planes in the east. According to the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's armed forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, these planes carried out anti-aircraft missile strikes against the positions of Ukrainian forces.

"This morning, the Air Force of Ukraine's armed forces destroyed two Russian aircraft that were attacking the positions of our troops with guided aerial bombs. One Su-34 fighter-bomber and one Su-35C fighter," he noted.

Also, on the night of February 21, air defense forces managed to shoot down another Russian Su-34 fighter bomber.

According to the General Staff of Ukraine's armed forces, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, including February 19, the Ukrainian military has destroyed a total of 340 Russian aircraft.
