11,000 kids received gifts from BGV Charity Fund and its partners for winter holidays

In the last month of 2023, the BGV Charity Fund team covered thousands of kilometers to congratulate children on St. Nicholas, Christmas, and New Year's festivities. The fund representatives visited communities in the Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Odesa, and Kherson regions.

The gifts were distributed to children from socially vulnerable groups, displaced families, those who excelled in education or sports during the year, and young Ukrainians living in front-line areas. Some presents were delivered to towns a few kilometers away from active combat zones, where children eagerly awaited these special surprises.

The BGV fund also organized festive events for the kids. Beloved fairy-tale characters entertained the children, engaging them in lively activities, group games, and dances. A puppet theater presented its away performances — all to immerse young Ukrainians in the festive Christmas and New Year atmosphere and distract them, just for a moment, from the harsh realities of war.

Supporting young Ukrainians during the war is one of the foundation's top priorities. The BGV charity organization's team is doing its best to ensure that as many children in Ukraine as possible feel the holiday spirit during the Christmas and New Year celebrations.

We express our gratitude to our partners who went above and beyond to make sure that children in need truly experienced the holiday spirit: Hanseatic Help, #WeAreAllUkrainians, Make It Real Foundation, FC "Polissia," and "Zhytomyrski Lasoshchi."
