How does it work?

"D-21-11 is a universal Ukrainian robot created by members of the Brave1 defense cluster. The machine is equipped with an automatic turret and can perform combat missions. For example, to conduct reconnaissance, assault or defend positions," the statement said.

Ukrainian digital minister Mykhailo Fedorov noted that the robot can also be used to safely deliver ammunition or provisions to soldiers in hot spots. The combat part is completely removable.

The robot's combat arm, D-11, has already been successfully tested and has received positive feedback from the military.

The developers are planning to integrate NATO weapons into the robot and increase its resistance to enemy electronic warfare.

The team is now working on scaling up production.

Engineers and students of the School of Robotics in Zaporizhzhia created a sapper robot for the needs of the Ukrainian troops and emergency responders.

"The robot will be useful to a sapper when he needs to get to the place where an object has landed. In addition, it will help to walk through terrain with tripwires. It also has cameras that help to clearly identify objects," the developers said.

Brave1 is a cross-sectoral project aimed at boosting the development of companies working in the field of defense technology.

The BRAVE1 coordination platform was created as a "one-stop shop" for cooperation between defense tech companies, the state, the military, investors, volunteer foundations, media, and other participants.

The main focus is providing grants to developers that are prioritized for the needs of the security and defense forces, assistance in finding effective technological solutions among Ukrainian developers, and bringing together all industry stakeholders.

Fedorov and the Brave1 military technology platform tested 25 Ukrainian developments in the field that will soon be deployed at the front.
