BGV Charity Fund and Ombudsman’s Office extend greetings to children of captive, fallen, and missing Ukrainian defenders

In the days leading up to the New Year, the BGV Charity Fund team, in partnership with the Ombudsman's Office, purchased and delivered one thousand Christmas gifts for the children of Ukrainian defenders who are currently held in captivity by the aggressor country in Russia and on temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories. The initiative also extended to children whose parents serving in the military died or are missing under special circumstances.

As part of the joint project between the BGV Fund and the Ombudsman's Office, festive celebrations with fairy-tale characters were organized for the children, who accepted congratulations on the winter holidays and gifts in Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Uzhhorod, and Lviv.

For the families of soldiers, war is a challenge that leaves an impact on all family members, regardless of their location. The children of defenders are particularly vulnerable to such experiences. These young Ukrainians require special attention and support from society and the government. Their brief smiles and positive emotions from congratulations are incredibly precious.

Supporting vulnerable children is one of the top priorities for the BGV Charity Fund.
