Ukrainian forces repel over 70 enemy attacks on seven fronts – General Staff
Ukrainian forces repelled 23 enemy attacks near eastern Kupiansk and 20 assaults in Avdiivka throughout the day, the AFU GenStaff says in its latest report.
The defense forces continue to conduct offensive operations near southern Melitopol, and offensive actions in Bakhmut. Ukrainian troops inflict manpower and equipment losses on the Russian troops, exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.
During the day there were 77 assaults. The enemy inflicted 5 missile and 33 air strikes, carried out 32 shelling from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and settlements. Unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. The school, private residential buildings, apartment buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged, the report said.
Throughout the day, the Air Force launched seven strikes on Russian manpower, weapons and military equipment clusters, and four strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.
Ukrainian missile forces hit a command post, an ammunition depot, three manpower, weapons, and military equipment clusters, and an EW station of Russian invaders.
The troops have eliminated a record number of personnel over the past day, killing over 1,300 Russian soldiers.
