As of today, the movement of Wagner mercenary units to Belarus has not been recorded.

Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, the Commander of the Joint Forces of Ukraine, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

As of today, no Wagner PMC units have been spotted on the territory of Belarus. However, we are aware of further developments in the situation, and our intelligence agencies are working to obtain information about this. If this happens, the military command will know about it, Nayev said.

He added that several action plans are being considered in case of Wagner's advance to Belarus.

In each of them, the Armed Forces will take adequate countermeasures. We are currently preparing forces to counter possible manifestations, Nayev said.

Ukrainian intelligence and its allies are closely monitoring the situation in Belarus, including the deployment of nuclear weapons, as reported by Russia. General stressed that Ukraine hadn't noticed any major changes.

Earlier, the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, called on residents of the Sumy region to leave the border areas due to the active shelling and provocations by Russian breach groups.
