Estonia hosts holiday for 40 children of Zhytomyr region military
At the invitation of the Tallinn City Council and its mayor Mihhail Kõlvart personally, with the support of the BGV Charity Fund, 40 children of the Ukrainian military from the Zhytomyr region went to a summer camp in Estonia for rest and recovery.
These are the children of fallen servicemen, those who have gone missing, and those who are currently defending Ukraine.
Children can enhance their knowledge at the summer camp through various educational leisure activities. A trip to Tallinn and Haapsalu will introduce the campers to the Estonian culture and tradition, culminating in the thirteenth annual Youth Festival of Song and Dance.
"I want to personally thank Mihhail Kõlvart, who came up with this initiative, always responds and consistently helps the Zhytomyr region as a region patronized by the Republic of Estonia. I am also grateful to the BGV charity fund, which took over all the transportation costs of our children's trip, and the social policy department of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration for organizational support," said Arseniy Pushkarenko, head of the group on inter-parliamentary relations with the Republic of Estonia.
