Ukraine has already received 14 Soviet-made MiG-29 fighter jets from Poland out of promised 28.

Previously, Poland promised to transfer the warplanes to strengthen the defense capabilities of our country, the state's representative to the EU reported on Twitter.

Ukraine received up to 325 of the 575 tanks transferred by the West from Poland, which is more than from the rest of the allies.

Polish defense minister Mariusz Blaszczak stated earlier that Warsaw had transferred 10 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.

Slovakia, in its turn, has already transferred all 13 MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.

In mid-March, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda announced the transfer of the MiG-29 to Ukraine. It became known about the first delivery of aircraft at the beginning of April. The exact number was not named.

In April, Germany allowed Poland to transfer five of its MIG-29s from the GDR's stocks.
