Solutions to win: Taxi app Uklon enables donations to Ukraine's armed forces

The Uklon application now offers its users the option of making regular donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where a fixed amount is automatically deducted from the user's account following each trip and donated to charitable organizations in support of the Ukrainian army.

What is the problem?

As of the end of October 2022, 51% of Ukrainians continued to regularly or occasionally donate money to volunteers and Ukraine's armed forces. With such actions, citizens accelerate the victory of Ukraine.

What is the solution?

The Uklon app also provided assistance, introducing a function which enables users to make regular donations to the Ukrainian army. After each trip made by users, a fixed amount will be deducted from their account to support Ukraine's armed forces.

How does it work?

How to activate this function?

In the Uklon application, a persons needs to click on the "Donate" button on the main screen and select the new "Regular Donate to Win" section.

After that, specify any amount and link a bank card from which the donation will be debited after each order.

Funds will be debited in addition to the cost of the trip.

The number of completed donations can be viewed in the order history.

A person can cancel regular donations, edit the amount or change a bank card at any time via the "Donate" button.

Currently, it is possible to contribute to the "Angry Birds" fundraiser sponsored by Dignitas and Uklon with a regular donation.The goal of the fundraiser is to collect funds for more than 1,000 attack FPV drones from Ukrainian manufacturers.

Uklon launched a car class for people with disabilities who use wheelchairs.

The Ukrainian online car calling service, with the support of Mastercard and MacPaw, has launched the "Inclusive" class. From now on, passengers using a wheelchair can move freely in specially equipped cars.

The new class of cars is available in Kyiv and its suburbs within a radius of 20 km, and the company plans further geographic expansion.
