Norway launches support program for displaced businesses in Ukraine's western regions

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has launched a program to support business owners who have relocated from areas of active hostilities to Ukraine's western Lviv or Ternopil regions.

The Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reports that the NRC plans to support with small grants and technical support 50 business owners who have moved or are planning to move and rebuild their businesses from war-torn frontline areas to Lviv or Ternopil regions in West of Ukraine.

To that end, the NRC encourages business owners who meet the requirements to complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in this program. The grant application can be submitted until April 20.

Basic requirements for applying: the enterprise has the potential to create new jobs, and the business activity will positively impact the development of the community to which it is relocated.

The displaced Ukrainian businesses can fill out the application form for participation in the competition by clicking on the link. If the company is a family business, then the application can be submitted only by one family member.

To get additional information about the grant, contact the hotline at 0800302007 or email [email protected].
