Ukrainian women get first-time win in wrestling at World Cup
Over the weekend, the Ukrainian national team won the Women's Wrestling World Cup for the first time in history. The tournament was held in the American city of Coralville.

For the first time in history, Ukraine's women's national team became the strongest team at the World Cup in wrestling.
The Women's Wrestling World Cup took place for the first time since 2019.
Ukraine got into the same group with the national teams of Mongolia and Japan. The Ukrainian women started the tournament with a confrontation with the Mongolian team, which they defeated with a score of 7:3 based on the results of 10 fights.
The fate of the confrontation with the Japanese women, in which each of the teams won five, was decided by the points advantage of the Ukrainian women.
In the decisive confrontation, the Ukrainian wrestlers won 6 victories in 10 fights with the Chinese women.
