Ukraine in 2022 top Google searches

Ukraine entered the top Google searches for 2022. In the searches section, it ranks third, and in the News section, it is first.

Google Trends reports that the most Googled in 2022 were the following:

• Wordle (a game to guess five-letter words),
• India – England match results,
• Ukraine,
• Queen Elizabeth,
• India – South Africa matches.

In the news search, the most popular query was:

• the word Ukraine,
• then the death of Queen Elizabeth,
• lottery numbers and monkeypox.

The peak of searches for the word "Ukraine" fell on February 20-26 and at the beginning of March. Now, Ukraine is 20 times less searched by the global community. This level keeps steady till now.

Ukraine was googled most in these countries:

1. Germany
2. Zimbabwe
3. Austria
4. Uganda
5. Switzerland

Together with the word "Ukraine," people googled "losses," "human sacrifices," "donations," "refugees," and "war."
