In Madrid, Spain, a package with a bomb was discovered at the Torrejon de Ardos air base, from where aid was sent to Ukraine

This is reported by Mundo.

The media outlet noted that early in the morning on December 1, the security systems of the Torrejon de Ardos military base (Madrid) discovered a suspicious package that was addressed to the satellite center of the European Union.

It is emphasized that it was the one that provided Ukraine with strategic information about the war after the russian invasion.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Spain, the air base security systems detected a suspicious envelope between 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning. After X-ray analysis, it was determined that it might contain some mechanism inside.

The Civil Guard and the National Police were immediately informed about this.

This is the third explosive discovered in the country in a day.

Employees of both agencies immediately went to the base to secure the area. The Ministry of Defense confirmed this information and added that there were no casualties.

As Rubryka wrote, on Wednesday afternoon, November 30, it became known that an employee of the Embassy of Ukraine in Madrid received minor injuries as a result of a bomb explosion in the premises of the embassy.

It is known that in Spain, the incident was previously classified as a terrorist crime.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, then immediately instructed to strengthen the security of all Ukrainian embassies abroad and called on his Spanish colleague to take urgent measures to investigate the attack on the Ukrainian diplomatic mission.

Rubryka later wrote that the commandant of the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain, who was injured in the explosion on Wednesday afternoon, was discharged from the hospital and returned to work.

On November 30, the Spanish company Instalaza, which manufactures weapons and sends them to Ukraine as aid in the fight against russian troops, received a package with, presumably, an explosive device.
