Lviv received European Youth Capital-2025 award

The title European Youth Capital-2025 was awarded to Lviv.

This was reported on the city council's official Facebook page.

It is noted that the jury of the international competition in the Albanian city of Tirana declared Lviv the youth capital of Europe 2025.

It is known that Lviv joined the competition on February 21, just three days before the full-scale invasion.

European Youth Forum board member Tom Mathew said: "This is the first time a European Youth Capital has won the title while its country is at war. Despite the challenges, Lviv has presented a detailed plan full of hope and aspirations. We share this hope with the young people people of Lviv, and we will be close to them when they rebuild their country."
