All the garbage from the Uda River in Kharkiv region was taken away the seventh time
Glass and plastic are sorted from the collected garbage
In Kharkiv, on Friday, July 29, the basket of the Trash Killer garbage collector, which cleans the Uda River, was completely cleaned.
More than 20 tons of various garbage were caught 8 months after installation, eco-activist Artem Prykhodko reports on Facebook.
The previous removal took place a month and a half ago.
Prykhodko noted that this hydraulic structure has proven itself to be very effective, because it worked reliably in critical conditions both in summer and in winter.
The trash collected from the Trash Killer is sorted, namely, glass and plastic are removed from it, and organic residues are sent to rot.
Prykhodko is responsible for the maintenance and removal of garbage, and Kharkiv communal workers take care of the collector. The manipulator is rented at the expense of the "For People from People" fund. "We are making Kharkiv's rivers clean," Prykhodko noted.

Since the beginning of the installation, the utility workers of the "Complex for the Operation of Water Reduction and Storm Sewage Facilities" have already cleaned the Trash Killer 6 times. During this time, the total amount of garbage caught was about 18 tons.
"We plan to clean and dispose of the garbage from the trap in the near future", – Prykhodko noted.
Most often, plastic bottles from drinks and household chemicals, glass bottles, shoes, reeds, logs, cigarette packs, and other plant residues and household waste fall into the garbage collector.
