Medvedchuk asked to exchange him for defenders and residents of Mariupol: SBU video
Viktor Medvedchuk appealed to the presidents of russia and Ukraine to exchange him for defenders and residents of Mariupol.
The corresponding video with Medvedchuk's address was published by the Security Service of Ukraine
Medvedchuk noted that they were in a blocked city, without a safe exit through humanitarian corridors.
russia's aggression caused one of the biggest humanitarian catastrophes in Mariupol. The invaders bomb civilians, block the delivery of humanitarian aid to the city, forcibly deport Ukrainians to russia and deliberately destroy the city.
At the same time, according to various estimates, about 120,000 civilians remain in the blocked Mariupol, and the city continues to be defended by fighters of the Azov Regiment and the 36th Marine Brigade.
To recap, the SBU detained Medvedchuk on April 12. The FSB of the russian federation tried to take the fugitive people's deputy first to Transnistria and later to Moscow. The Security Service of Ukraine detained him on the way out of the Kyiv region.
