"I volunteer at home. Guys come to take a shower and wash their clothes. I return them clean": 84-year-old Ada Rohovtseva explains how she helps Ukrainian army

Ukrainian actress Ada Rohovtseva is currently in Ukraine and is actively volunteering. In her house, she organized a "full-fledged headquarters," where defenders come to take a shower, wash their clothes and eat homemade food.

The celebrity told more about it on the air of the national telethon.

"I can't stay aside and do anything. I'm volunteering at home. The boys come to take a show and wash their clothes. I give them clean linen. They bring wet socks in the bag, so I'm happy to give them these clean socks. I feed them. While I had something, I cooked my own food. And now they bring me soup, porridge, potatoes, everything is ready. The dumplings were handed over today," said Rohovtseva.

The actress admitted that when her hands are busy with something, it becomes less scary and time flies much faster. She also added that she "learned to hate."

"When you're working all day, it's not scary, and time flies. I'm proud that our people at the front are courageous and beautiful people. My daughter and daughter-in-law are volunteering now; they help our people a lot. Personally, I'm not afraid at all. I was born an optimist, and in recent years, new qualities have been born in me. I have learned to hate, and I really hate murderers. I hate people who raise a machine gun at children's hospitals, children and women," she explained.

"It is very difficult for all of us to say something now. Short words don't want to come out. Only feelings of hatred. Only feelings that justice has been established. That there is truth on my Ukrainian land," Rohovtseva added.
