Poland is ready to provide gas, humanitarian, and defense assistance to Ukraine

At a briefing on Tuesday (February 1st), Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that Poland was ready to provide gas, defense, and humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

Interfax-Ukraine reported this.

"We in the EU and in NATO countries are concerned about such assistance to Ukraine. But Poland is also ready to provide assistance to Ukraine as far as possible in the gas sector, defense, economic stabilization, and humanitarian issues, which we are already doing," Morawiecki said.

According to him, his country can provide Ukraine with several thousand artillery pieces, drones, anti-aircraft shells such as Hrim, light mortars.

The Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki stated that to increase the volume of gas supplied to the east, Kyiv and Warsaw had agreed to build a gas pipeline.
