In Chernivtsi, patients are offered free oxygen concentrators for treatment at home
In Chernivtsi, hospitals and clinics offer free use of oxygen concentrators for temporary treatment at home.
This was published by the Department of Health of the Chernivtsi City Council on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
"Polyclinics and primary health care centers in Chernivtsi have oxygen concentrators that patients can take for temporary use," the statement said.
According to the deputy head of the health department of the City Council, patients who need long-term oxygen support can take the concentrator for free.
"To get an oxygen concentrator, the patient needs to see their family doctor, who'll determine the objective need and the need for an oxygen subsidy at home," the official said.
In total, Chernivtsi primary care facilities have 41 oxygen concentrators that patients can use. In particular:
- Rosha Center for Primary Health Care – 9 units;
- Sadhora Primary Health Care Center – 9 units;
- City Polyclinic №1- 9 units;
- City Polyclinic №2 – 6 units;
- City Polyclinic №3 – 6 units;
- Hraviton City Polyclinic – 2 units.
