Why Ukrainians don't want to do covid vaccination: survey results
In April 2021, 40% of Ukrainians among those who didn't want to be vaccinated said that COVID-19 vaccines hadn't been sufficiently tested yet.
These are the results of the KIIS survey.
The second most popular reason for refusing vaccination is distrust of those vaccines that are available in Ukraine. This answer was given by 33% of KIIS respondents.
20% of Ukrainians said that "the consequences of the vaccine may be worse than those of COVID," and 17% don't trust any vaccination.
Note
The Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) conducted a survey on April 13-15, 2021 among 2001 respondents throughout Ukraine except for the territories occupied by Russia.
The survey was conducted using computer-assisted telephone interviews (CATI) based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers.
The statistical sampling error (with a probability of 0.95 and taking into account the design effect of 1.1) doesn't exceed 2.4%.
According to the Ministry of Health, 754,926 people have been vaccinated against coronavirus in Ukraine as of May 1.
