Trudeau assures Zelenskyi of Canada's unwavering support for Ukraine
The Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau assured the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi of Canada's unwavering support for Ukraine.

"Thanks for the call, Volodymyr. It's always good to touch base and work on building a strong partnership between our two countries. Know that Canada's support for Ukraine's sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity will never waver," he wrote.

Earlier, Zelenskyi thanked Trudeau on Twitter because "in difficult times, Canada is always close to Ukraine."
He also added that Canada's assistance in obtaining a NATO Membership Action Plan would be "an important signal of support from true friends."
Besides, Zelenskyi invited Trudeau to the Crimean Platform summit on August 23.
