Color changing car
This year's CES is the venue for the world premiere of the new BMW model with automatic driving and parking functions. Also, the debut features include Digital Art and Theater Mode, which turns the rear of the car into a private cinema. But even more impressive than digital art in the car are the possibilities of personalization; BMW has offered an electric iX Flow with the new E Ink technology, which allows you to instantly change the color of the car at the request of the driver. The company explained how E Ink technology works with electronic inks: "Smooth color change is made possible by a special coating that exactly replicates the shape of the body. E Ink technology is based on the electrophoretic process. Pigments of different colors are displayed on the surface of the coating by electric current, as a result of which the body acquires the desired shade."
