But after what they [russians] did, we passed the point of no return. We need to take Luhansk, Donetsk, Kherson, and Crimea," says Major General Marchenko of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation on the front line didn't undergo significant changes during the day. The enemy continues to terrorize the border areas and gain a foothold at the borders. The Ukrainian Armed Forces responded and pressured the enemy. In Sloviansk's direction, the enemy's assault in the direction of Dolyna was repulsed. The Ukrainian troops repelled the occupiers. "Ukraine's reconstruction is not only about what we must do after our victory or in the following years, but also what we need to do right now. According to Liz Truss, confiscation of assets of russians in Britain will most likely require a change in legislation. However, the country's authorities are looking for other options. Once a legal mechanism is found, they can transfer the seized funds either to private individuals as compensation or to the Ukrainian state.
So far, the UK can only freeze russian assets for 56 days and extend the freeze for the same period. During this period, the owner of the funds cannot receive any benefit from it.
