Tokmak Solar Energy: stolen or not? The owner tells about the damage from russian destruction
Oleksandr Repkin, co-owner of the power plant and a special representative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Economic Diplomacy, denied the information about the plunder.
To recap, the Zaporizhzhya RMA confirmed the information about invaders trying to "quietly" take out the property of the solar power plant. On February 27, the russians entered Tokmak. The station came under fire and got severely damaged, then the occupiers looted the office, taking and breaking everything they could.
At night, during the curfew, the russians still occasionally arrange "raids" on the station area, taking away valuables.
Due to the destruction, the station lost about 20% of its power. Now it operates at a capacity of about 40 MW, said Repkin in a comment to Forbes.ua.
As it was reported, russian invaders stole the largest solar power plant in Ukraine near Tokmak.
