Russian airstrike on Kharkiv leaves four dead, people may be trapped under rubble
On the night of October 29, Russian troops once more conducted an airstrike on Kharkiv. This resulted in a hit in the Osnovianskyi district, and unfortunately, four people (two women and two men) lost their lives.
The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, and the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Synehubov, reported that on Telegram.
According to the city's leader, the explosions were heard around 3:00 a.m.. Due to enemy shelling, two private residences were utterly destroyed, and nearly twenty homes suffered varying levels of damage.
"Currently, works are being carried out to analyze the debris to identify possible victims," Terekhov initially wrote.
Rescuers and relevant services were on the scene. They showed a video from the impact site.
As of 5:05 a.m., four dead were reported.

"People, in particular children, may still be under the rubble. The liquidation of the consequences is ongoing. All emergency services are working on the spot," Synehubov wrote.
The State Emergency Service has reported that an enemy airstrike in Kharkiv's Osnovianskyi district caused one house to be destroyed entirely and partial damage to 19 other buildings and four cars.

"The fire was promptly extinguished. The bodies of two women and two men were recovered from the rubble. Emergency and rescue operations are ongoing. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service are assisting people on the spot," the department added.
Later, the head of the regional military administration clarified that as a result of an enemy attack on residential buildings, four people were killed: two women and two men.

It's important to mention that on the evening of October 28, the Russian invaders launched an attack on the center of Kharkiv using FAB-500 guided bombs. Explosions rocked the city, and a fire broke out at the site of the strike. Unfortunately, six people were injured as a result.
Later, the head of Kharkiv said that a hit was recorded in the administrative building of the State Industry House (Derzhprom) – several floors were destroyed.
