Explosions rock Russian Belgorod, fires break out

On the morning of September 2, a series of explosions occurred in Belgorod, Russia. The air defense forces were activated to respond to the shelling, resulting in fires and damage.
The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, and the local publications report that.
According to the Russian official, air defense forces worked in Belgorod and the region.
"In Belgorod, one social and one commercial object were directly hit. A car also caught fire," the governor said.
He stated that two houses and four cars had caught fire in the village of Dubovoye and that emergency services and firefighters were currently on the scene.
Traditionally, the Russian side accuses Ukraine of shelling, and Russian media reports that a kindergarten in the city of Belgorod has been affected.

On August 25, there was a severe fire in the Rakityansky district of the Belgorod region, supposedly caused by attacks following the shelling. Victims were also reported.
